Now in its fifth year, the New England Condo Expo has become the annual must-attend event for New England property managers, board members, real estate professionals and homeowners. Returning to the Seaport World Trade Center in Boston on Tuesday, May 21, from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., the 2013 Expo will showcase over 150 exhibitors from throughout the region, along with free advice booths and a full slate of educational seminars.
In one day and under one roof, Expo visitors can gather information that’s essential to smooth community operations, network with experienced industry professionals, and benefit from a full slate of unique educational programming.
Full Day of Seminars
A full schedule of seminars is on tap for the day, covering topics such as lien enforcement and foreclosures; compliance with local, state and federal laws; improving energy efficiency; and landscape and pavement maintenance. Seminar presenters will include attorneys from Marcus, Errico, Emmer & Brooks, P.C., and Goodman, Shapiro & Lombardi, LLC, as well as experts from National Grid and Curb Appeal Consulting.
Last year's seminars attracted standing-room-only audiences—so be sure to arrive early to avoid disappointment!
Free Advice Booths & More
Vendor booths and a full schedule of seminars may be the big draws to the Expo, but that’s just one pixel of the Expo picture.
In addition to networking and education opportunities, the show’s popular free advice booths will be returning as well. If you have questions about your association’s finances, policies, or day-to-day management, you can stop by one of the booths for answers from leading legal, management, maintenance, insurance and financial professionals.
And of course, no trade show would be complete without giveaways and raffles.
Throughout the day, random drawings will be held for a host of valuable door prizes. Past attendees have gone home with tickets to professional sporting events, televisions, certificates for valuable condo and HOA services, and even vacation packages!
$2,500 Reserve Fund Giveaway
Among the day’s most popular offerings is the Reserve Fund prize giveaway, courtesy of New England Condominium and Yale Robbins Publications, LLC, the parent company of New England Condominium. One attendee at the Expo will win a $2,500 contribution to their building or association's reserve fund. The winner will be drawn at random after registration has closed, and a check for the winnings will be made payable to the winner’s association, care of their management company.
Only board members qualify to enter the reserve fund drawing, and attendance at the Expo is required for eligibility. For complete details on how to enter the reserve fund drawing, visit the Expo website, www.ne-expo.com.
