The second annual New England Condo Expo will showcase over 150 exhibitors from all over New England when the exciting day-long event returns to the Seaport World Trade Center at 200 Seaport Boulevard in Boston on Wednesday, May 12, 2010.
Sponsored by New England Condo-minium magazine, the New England Condo Expo (www.ne-expo.com) is the premier real estate trade show in the region, featuring exhibitors from every sector of the condo and HOA industry – including attorneys, property managers, financial advisors, interior and exterior maintenance contractors, vendors, and professional organizations. This year's event hours have been extended to allow more board members and property managers to take time out of their busy schedules to attend. The Expo will run from 11:30 a.m. to 7:30p.m. with a full slate of seminars to whet your educational appetite.
For more than two decades, Yale Robbins, Inc., New England Condom-inium’s parent company, has been hosting successful trade shows for the co-op and condo industry in both New York and New Jersey. This spring, New England Condominium is pleased to invite New England’s property managers, trustees, and unit owners to partake in a day of networking, idea-exchange, and giveaways custom-tailored for their unique market.
Education and More
Anyone involved with the administration of a building or homeowners association knows that good information and clear communication are crucial to a community not just surviving, but thriving, especially in today’s challenging economic times. Finding that information is not as easy as it sounds, however. The New England Condo Expo will offer attendees the opportunity to do both, in one day and under one roof, with a roster of unparalleled educational programming.
This year, seminar speakers will include panelists from Rockland Trust, a financial services firm specializing in community associations, and law firm Goodman Shapiro & Lombardi, as well as experts in other fields of community association management and administration. To encourage attendee participation in the seminar format, presenters and panelists build time for audience questions and feedback into their presentations.
Each seminar at this year’s Expo will run around an hour in length, giving you enough time between talks to check out the booths on the exhibit floor and enjoy the show’s other attractions. Last year's seminars attracted standing-room-only audiences, so be sure to arrive early and claim a seat well before your chosen seminar is scheduled to start!
Other Offerings
There will be plenty of other excitingactivities to partake in at the New England Condo Expo, including multiple raffle drawings. Random drawings throughout the day will announce the winners of a host of valuable door prizes, and many exhibitor and sponsor booths will feature giveaways and contests.
Not all freebies are tangible, of course. If you have questions about your association’s finances, policies, or day-to-day management, you can stop by one of the Expo’s free advice booths for answers. The booths are staffed throughout the day by legal, management, building and financial professionals ready to answer your questions, off the clock and on the house.
